The culture in the school is just wonderful. The fact that Year 6s look out for the Year Rs and truly celebrate their achievements, the older kids referee the KS1 lunchtime football games because they want to help out, and everyone knows everyone’s names. I think that’s one of the things that makes TSM so incredible!

Parent feedbackI have been impressed and pleased about the way the KS1 structure has worked. This has been very beneficial to my son (Year 2) and has given him an excellent balance of focused Year 2 learning with his peers, and integration with younger children which he highly values (he calls his year 1 friends his ‘calm play friends’). I think this natural opportunity for cross-year integration is sometimes overlooked in our little school, where the need for mixed classes could easily be viewed as a disadvantage. My daughter (Year 5 Yew) has also benefitted immensely from the social aspect of mixed-year classes throughout her time at TSM, making friends outside her year group, as well as being motivated to work hard in a mixed Year 5/6 environment

Every time I’ve had an issue you’ve dealt with it incredibly well and immediately. I feel you know and care deeply for each child. You give all children the same opportunities regardless of ability. I was amazed that school dinners with changed to reduce dessert – wonderful work!
