Dear Parents and Carers,
Following the Government’s announcement this evening, Twyford St Mary’s will be closed for this half term to all pupils except those of key workers and vulnerable children.
Thank you to all the parents who have responded to our key worker survey request. Staff will be in school tomorrow to receive and teach key worker and vulnerable pupils under the new lockdown arrangements.
The school day will run from 8:30am – 3.30pm, with no breakfast or after school club provision.
For those pupils who are working from home, you will receive a letter from your class teacher by 9:00am tomorrow with details of learning for the next 2 days. This includes a choice of 9 home learning activities as well as daily tasks for Maths and English for children to engage with. These will also be uploaded to our school website alongside key skills packs for each year group.
From Thursday, the teachers will then return to sending out daily learning and feedback to our pupils who are working from home to support all our families throughout this lockdown.
Warm wishes to all of our families in these challenging times and I look forward to the day when I can welcome back all of our pupils to school.
